Our mission is to support and promote the Towson High School Music Department in order to provide a program of excellence

The Music Boosters meet the first Wednesday of every month from 7-8pm

Join Music Boosters!

  • The absolute BEST way to support the Towson High School Music Program is to join Music Boosters!

  • Yearly membership is $50 per family.

  • Corporate memberships are available for $250; includes: your logo and information on our website, six winter and spring concerts programs that reach approximately 1,000 students, parents and families, major fundraising programs, and announcements during 4-5 half-time high school football games.

Get Involved!

In order to provide financial support, we organize fundraisers, collect membership dues, and accept donations. Our volunteers provide their time and effort to deliver the best possible experience for our students. Through our initiatives, we hope to contribute to the spirit and enthusiasm of all Towson students.

What We Provide

  • Pay for the buses to transport the music students to "away" events

  • Provide volunteers for the Music Ensembles and THS Marching Generals events

  • Provide funds to purchase new equipment, maintain and repair instruments, tune pianos, and purchase music

  • Host guest clinicians and accompanists

  • Measure, fit, distribute, clean, and restock all rented concert attire and Marching Band uniforms

  • Financial aid for all music students (ensembles, general, extra-curricular)

  • College scholarships to outstanding seniors who plan to major or minor in music

Music Boosters Monthly Meetings & Events:

June (End of May) - Held in conjunction with the "Mandatory Marching Band Camp Meeting"

  • Introduce new officers

  • Approve budget

  • Present Marching Band information and sign up student participants

  • Send uniforms and concert attire to cleaners
